We would like to offer our services to you to aid in the further success of your career as a musician. We are currently booking for Bands on Jan. 25th 2009. This event will consist of selling a min of 30 presale tickets to your fans, the presale tickets help with operation costs. All direct sales from your band/act that exceed your 30 presale tickets will be yours to keep. That’s a 100% profit! These tickets are referred to as your “Surplus” Tickets. The more you sell, the larger your profit.
We know that selling is hard, that is why we aid you in this process. On our website (www.eklectrecords.com) we have an online shopping store, The Music Market. Here, your tickets will also be sold for your show. We accept all major credit cards, so if your fans can’t afford the ticket at the moment, they can purchase them at your fan’s earliest convenience. These tickets will NOT be taken out of your presale tickets, but these tickets will count toward your Surplus tickets. There is a 15% operation fee for the online tickets.
Since you are a musician, we understand you are trying to be heard after the performance as well. We also offer to sell your album, EP, LP, demo, any music that you have in The Music Market as well. We can, if you like, offer package deals that if they buy your album; they can receive a free ticket to your show. Again, these free tickets will be out of your Surplus tickets. This creates an incentive for your fans to purchase your music and attend a show, which will lead to your future success as a musician. The sale of the album works on a consignment basis of 60/40. 60% of the profits go to you, which is 10% more than normal consignment deals.
Also, this particular venue offers their own service called Play-A Stream, which is a live video feed of your performance, for your fans that weren’t able to attend. If you are interested in receiving a copy of your performance we can put you in contact with the proper personnel of the venue.

 Hi I am hoping I can reach someone with extra/unneeded items that my roommate and I could really use. We just graduated college (broke) and moved from Chicago to West Hollywood. We would love to make our little one bedroom as homey as possible but do not have the funds to get new things that aren't completely necessary, as food and rent are... I have a lot of great furniture items back in Chicago so if you know of anyone in need or are going out there I'd love to help you out in return! If anyone has something great we would be able to pay a small amount, depending on what it is.
While I realize no one just wants to hand out new things, we dont want to spend time or money fixing up our donations, or constantly have to deodorize the items so we are looking for anything in good or better condition. We would eventually like to be able to have company over and not be completely embarrassed...
We need the following items:
A full or twin size bed - mattress, box spring, basic metal frame (nothing fancy but comfy as my roommate got into a very bad car accident and has back and neck problems/pain as it is)
A couch/futon/sofa bed, etc.
Coffee/end tables/nightstand
Dining/Kitchen Table & chairs
Area/Entrance rug(s)
Bookshelf/ Anything for organizing stuff- other shelving, bins, crates, etc...
Entertainment/TV stand
Television
Bathroom organizers/ small bins/tubs/ drawer systems...
Iron
And misc basic tools- screwdrivers, wrench, hammer, pliers, etc...
Fan
Mirrors
Any extra decor items would always be nice...
Basically anything in good condition, we packed our cars full with what we could and came out, we basically have nothing except the few items we got from great people on craigslist.
Anything that fits description will be picked up immediately as long as it can fit somehow in our sedans (back seat folds down) Otherwise anyone willing to deliver or know of someone who can would be greatly appreciated.
With an item in great condition we would be willing to pay a small amount as we understand most people dont want to part with things freely... (but it would bring great karma)
So if you or anyone you know has anything they dont need please let me know! We would greatly appreciate it and do whatever we could for you in return!
